Of Pigs and Pit Bulls

Let’s be honest: the whole kerfluffle this week over Obama’s “lipstick on a pig” quote was pure idiocy. Obama was totally correct in calling the Republicans’ response “phony outrage.” It’s all political posturing, and it’s so blatant that it may backfire.
On the other hand, I can’t figure out why no one is highlighting the obvious: Obama was a friggin idiot to use that phrase after Palin’s speech, and he should have seen this coming from a mile away.
