“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” – Jesus
Every baptism I’ve ever done has been special. This was no different. Today I had the privilege of baptizing my brother in Christ and close friend, Gus (aka Mario). Next week I’ll post his testimony video, so you can hear it straight from him, but I have to tell you that this was special because Gus and I have been meeting together weekly (sometimes twice a week) for more than 6 months. There is a distinct difference in his life now that he has a personal, knowledgeable relationship with Jesus.
Gus will tell you that he has always had a relationship with the Lord, but that now he is close to Jesus and willing to do anything for Him. He used to be angry with himself a lot, now he has peace and guidance. He chose to publicly proclaim Jesus as his King today through baptism. I have to admit, this one was very special to me!
Unfortunately there was a scheduling conflict for the female that wanted to be baptized today, so we’ll have to do that another time.
If you would like to bless Gus with a welcome message into the family of Jesus, post a comment and I’ll be sure to pass it on! Thanks.

Absolutely amazing! God is so good to draw people unto himself…and then faithful to keep us. Gus, welcome to the family of God. I pray for Marty and Jaclyn’s ministry regularly, so glad to see results of God working through them.

It never gets old hearing about a new brother in Christ that has been transformed, from the old, to the new. Wish we could have been there to celebrate with you!
